Tuesday (3 September): Workshop assigned during 2D & Drawing Foundation classes. If you have a class that does not meet on a Tueaday, your instructor will give you the project the next day in class. Your entire class will come to the SHED room 2300 together for the launch (unless your instructor specifies otherwise). You will be given the prompt, a brief lecture, and your number. (Note that it is possible you will go to the launch more than once depending on your schedule on Tuesday, but please only take one number.) The launch schedule is as follows:
8:30 AM (for classes that meet at 8AM)
11:00 AM (for classes that meet at 11AM)
2:00 PM (for classes that meet at 2PM)
5:00 PM (for classes that meet at 5PM)
Tuesday (3 September) to Thursday (12 September): you will work on The Charrette in all 2D, 3D, and Drawing classes.
Thursday evening (12 September): Wear your project for presentation and judging at the final event, 5 to 7pm in the SHED atrium. Food will be provided! You will walk by all judges to show off your projects. The doors will open at exactly 5PM so please be in line and ready to go by 5. Please be aware that it takes about an hour for everyone to get through the line and be judged.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to be at the final event due to your schedule, work, or other obligations, you will unfortunately not be eligible for judging and awards. However, you are still able to recieve full credit for the project, your individual instructors will explain how to submit your projects in their classes. (For example, in 2D we have you submit a photo to myCourses).
