the charrette 2025

Workshop Overview

  • Wednesday (27 August): Workshop assigned during Foundation classes. If you have a class that does not meet on Wednesday, your instructor will give you the project this week. Your entire class will come to the SHED room 2300 together for the launch at the times listed below (unless your instructor specifies otherwise). You will be given the prompt and a brief lecture. (Note that it is possible you will go to the launch more than once depending on your schedule on Wednesday.)
    • 8:30 AM (for classes that meet at 8AM)
    • 11:30 AM (for classes that meet at 11AM)
    • 2:30 PM (for classes that meet at 2PM)
  • Thursday evening 4 September: Wear your project at the final event, 5:30 to 7:30pm in the SHED atrium. Food will be provided!
  • PLEASE NOTE: If you are unable to be at the final event due to your schedule, work, or other obligations, you are still able to recieve full credit for the project, your individual instructors will explain how to submit your projects in their classes. (For example, in 2D we have you submit a photo to myCourses).
